Geocache Description:

This is the Davis companion to the cache Sacramento's Smallest Park. This one involves a short stroll from the starting coordinates. You'll find the final letterbox at N 38° 3N.NNN W 121° 4W.WWW.

Start out at the plaque of this tiny flower garden/park. Note the two four-digit numbers on the plaque. Add 1034 to the first number, then divide by 1000 to obtain N.NNN. Add 2582 to the second number, then divide by 1000 to obtain W.WWW. Enjoy the short but pleasant stroll to the cache.

The cache is magnetic, stuck behind the post. Congratulations on finding a letterbox hybrid!

Please bring paper and your own stamp, if you have one. When you find the letterbox:

1) Sign your name and the date, and if you have your own stamp, then stamp it in the visitor’s log.

2) Stamp the letterbox stamp (RHINOCEROS!) on your own paper/book as a remembrance of your visit.

3) A letterbox (hybrid) is related to geocaching in that you start out with lat-long coordinates, switch to letterboxing instructions, then you can log your find on the geocaching website. In addition, they have trade items, can be used to exchange travel bugs, and they count towards your geocache totals.
Please do not take the STAMP as a trade item.
Information about the letterbox (hybrid) comes from Riverside by LewisClan77. Thanks LC77!

Congratulations to LewisClan77 for FTF!
Congratulations to Birding Enthusiast, Genscientist, websurfers, and CCWAM for finding their first letterbox hybrid!
