Geocache Description:

Small container log only BYOP. No need to go near the main drag!

This one is on the border between the townships of Goat hill and Mackerel flats today known as Costa Mesa and Newport Beach. Closest parking is in Mackerel Flats. Your task if you wish to pursue it is to find out when and why these names were endowed on these two fine communities. No points for taking on this task just the intrinsic satisfaction of knowing these facts. If you would like more information about Goat Hill aka Costa Mesa visit this web site. (visit link) or visit the Costa Mesa Museum and Library. The Costa Mesa Historical Society office, archive, museum and library are open to the public on Thursdays and Fridays from 10:00am until 3:00pm, or at other times by appointment. The building is located near the downtown library and recreation center at 1870 Anaheim Avenue.
WOW! Throw out some fish food and look at all the Piranha's you can nab. LOL Congrats to all!
