This is one of four welcome signs, part of a beautification
project for Duncan. Very symbolic of the city's history in the oil
industry, these signs are a replica of an oil pump jack. They are
painted black with either silver or white "Duncan" lettering.
Involving many people of the Duncan community, the project was done
purely off of donations. If you have never seen one of these, take
a moment to familiarize yourself with one of the figures of the oil
industry.
