This is version 2 of my first Stout Park cache hidden in April, 2005 when I thought the park was open. Well it's open again!!!
Stout Park was donated by Richard Stout, a Cobb County lawyer, in 1991 in memory of his wife, Violet F. Stout (1912-1990). Richard Stout wants all people to enjoy this land and it is now a part of Cobb County Parks & Recreation.
The cache is best approached from a trail near the memorial. The trail will get you to within 120 feet of the cache. The above coordinates should get you within 20-25 feet. I will update coordinates this fall if necessary. If you find yourself doing a lot of bushwacking you have entered the area the wrong way. Please do not destroy the wildlife so that others may have the chance to enjoy it as well.
You are looking for a 50 cal. ammo can. Please cover the cache up completely so it will be hidden and a challenge for other cachers.
