It is amazing how many small streams a person passes even hundreds to thousands of times and doesn't take the time to appreciate. If you go to get this cache you will see just one of those many places. This cache location is most certainly NOT for small children. Older children and teenagers sure but it is located by a county highway that can at times can be rather busy. I would be horrified if I found out little Johnny got smucked by a semi-truck while his family looked for this cache. DO NOT bring small children to find this cache. In addition there are also prickly plants so that would not be good for a small child either. Adults and older children also need to use caution by the road. This cache is located in the right of way between the road and private land. Please step off the road to look for this cache and do not trespass on nearby private land. You will have to park on the side of the road. keep a cautious lookout for cars and semi-trucks. You can get to it in the winter but please be careful it is located in an area that might be slippery in the winter and you could fall pretty easy so just be careful or wait for the snow to all melt then go for it. I advise not going for it in winter unless wearing shoes with cleats or really good tread and hang on to something so as not to fall. Handle the container with care when removing or just simply leave it where it is. You should be able to get to the contents without removing it but they certainly would be easier to get to if you removed it. Please place the container back gently and make sure it is snug. Please notify me if it is not snug. If for some reason it can't be put back properly please notify me and I will fix it ASAP. To claim this cache you need to sign the log book. BYOP Remember if you trade items trade even trade up or simply don't trade at all. Here is a list of some of the original items. Tea cup candle, about a 3¢ value Used golf ball, Hard to say, 4-40¢ maybe New golf ball, about 40-50¢ value NEW Toy car, about $1 value I checked on the cache area today 10-14-09. The cache is doing well but I notice alot of weeds are getting trampled around the cache. This in itself is not a big deal they are only weeds but it does expose the cache more than I would like. When you search the cache area please try not to trample the weeds. If it gets too exposed I may wind up having to archive it and nobody wants that.
