Ponte Park -3 Traditional Cache

Part of a short multi-cache on footpaths and bridleways around Pontefract Racecourse. You may even take in a spot of football, fishing, golf, power-walking, kiting or watch the model planes. The park also has a playground for kids and easy access to a McDonalds or the Park Hotel which has fine food, beers and wine. All in all, a nice day out can be had or a steady walk/bike ride. The 3rd in the series which takes you over the M62. There are views and a path through old coalmines, which leads to where the new Castleford Tigers Stadium is to be built, Xscape and J32 Outlet. It is suitable for bikers if you stay on the main track. There is also a lot of wildlife to see. This is a medium sized cache containing a log book and pencil, and lots of small goodies suitable for children. Please be careful with your footing.
