Geocache Description:


La cache si trova nel parco retrostante della Basilica di Bonaria.
Panoramiche bellissime sul Porto di Cagliari e sulla citta vecchia.
E' possibile scorgere nella parte alta della citta vecchia la Cattedrale, la torre di S. Pancrazio, etc.
La basilica di Bonaria costruita accanto alla vecchia chiesa è stata sede recentemente della visita del papa Benedetto XVI.
La Basilica affidata ai padri mercedari ospita un museo dove si può anche ammirare la vecchia cassa di legno che conteneva la statua della Madonna di Bonaria ,che si salvò dal naufragio di un galeone spagnolo.

I vialetti del parco sono di facile percorribilità, ma la location della cache ha un accesso un po difficoltoso perche bisogna scavalcare dei cespugli tra la roccia. Fare attenzione a non scivolare stando attenti a dove si mettono i piedi.

The cache is located in the park behind the Basilica of Bonaria.
Overviews on the beautiful Port of Cagliari and the old town.
It's possible to see at the top of the old city's Cathedral, the Tower of St. Pancrazio, etc.
The Basilica of Bonaria built beside the old church has been established recently the visit of Pope Benedict XVI.
The church fathers entrusted Mercedari houses a museum where you can admire the old wooden box that contained the statue of Our Lady of Bonaria, who escaped from the sinking of a Spanish galleon.

The paths of the park are easy , but the location of the cache has an access somewhat difficult because you must override the bushes between the rocks. Be careful not to slip being careful where you put your feet.
