Geocache Description:

This is the second cache in the Stock Loop Series. The series comprises 11 caches forming a very pleasant "circular" walk. The whole route is along public footpaths. All caches are hidden on the public footpaths so no need to divert to find them. There are a couple of very short stretches on a road where you will need to put dogs on leads and take care of the little ones.

Between church micro/stock loop 1 and this cache you can take a short detour to another church micro Church micro 359 - Stock Harvard GC1HEY9

Livestock.

There was no livestock in any field at time of setting and the footpaths are fenced off in all but one short stretch of field so, for those cachers non-too keen on equines and bovines, you will be pleased to know there is only a very limited possiblity of contact with livestock!

Terrain

The route is on clearly marked footpaths. However, a section of the path between the church micros and this cache was extremely muddy in late April and we anticipate it will be this way again as soon as the rain sets in. We are therefore giving the terrain a rating of 2.5. Mud doesnt seem to be too much of an issue for the rest of the walk but no doubt winter logs will let me know whether or not I'm being optomistic!

The walk should take around 1.15-1.30 hours - we hope you enjoy it.

For this cache you are looking for a large micro or small small - just large enough for some v small trades.

Parking

Convenient roadside parking for the series is on the roadside between the start of the footpath and the village pond.
