Geocache Description:

Sometime young groups of muggles practice strange rituals nearby, involving hitting balls with sticks, then performing a celebratory run. A quick park-n-grab. BRING A PEN.

Eco-note: Look behind/beside you and you’ll see nothing but Phragmites australias, a highly invasive non-native form of common reed. Phragmites have completely invaded Shantee Creek from bank to bank. This green menace also takes over beaches, crowds out native plants important to local water species, and alters nesting and feeding habitats. Unless you visit during the dormant season, you’d never know Shantee Creek is there!
