Geocache Description:




The launch of the South Western Ontario Geocachers (SWOG)


SWOG is all about having fun while promoting safe geocaching, providing education for geocachers and the general public while maintaining a focus on the environment and environmental issues. SWOG will: host regular events, workshops, meetings, and a website for communication, networking and education; as well as many other things. Membership is open to anyone and it is FREE. Further information about SWOG will be shared during the event.

Attending this event is a great way to get to know the faces behind the caches, catch up with old friends and to get to know new ones as well as some more experienced geocachers.

What to bring Potluck food to share (lunch will be at about 12:30pm)
How Please RSVP by posting a “will attend" (number of adults/children attending) and the item(s) you plan to bring for the potluck

The event will include

new caches in the area
games
potluck lunch – please bring a food dish(es) to share
time to chat and get to know each other
opportunity to do travel bug or geocoin drops or discoveries
opportunity to discuss that difficult cache or your favourite one
There will be a trackables table. Bring your TB’s and Coins

There is lots of free parking and also the building is wheelchair accessible.


FYI... there are electrical outlets that you can use if your food needs to be kept hot in a crock pot, etc.
