Five-inch plastic bottle hide in Denman Wildlife Area northwest of the Rogue River. BYOP Allow at least an hour round trip if you don't have a Denman key from the Fish and Game office and walk from the gate. Parking inside the gate on the old TouVelle Road requires a parking permit or a current hunting license.
On an access trail to the river and a deep swimming spot, this cache won't take you long to find once you get parked. Getting there is most of the fun. Look for logs that cross the trail. Be sure to collect BLACKBERRY BOUNTY and TURKEY TROT on the way, and if you have another half hour, go south along the river for ROGUE LAGOON. Be sure to visit SOUTHERN OREGON GEOCACHERS on Facebook.
