Geocache Description:

The cache is located in Evanston's Elliot Park along the lakeshore in the rocks. Although it requires stepping on a couple of rocks, it absolutely does not require going on top of any bigger ones. See the hint for more information.

Elliot Park is right next to Lake Michigan with beautiful views of both the lake and in good weather, downtown Chicago. It is located just north of Lee St. beach. At the northern tip of the beach at Lee St. starts a series of Timber Form Fitness Events. These are meant for both young and old and are a great way to add a little something extra to a walk. The cache is located in between the second and third parts of this fitness series.

Winter advisory: this cache will be hard to hunt when snow covers the area.

Depending on the time of day, street parking may be hard (easy on a weekday morning, difficult on a weekend afternoon). It should not be hard to find free parking on side streets though, regardless of the time and day.

Bring a pen. Although this is not a micro cache, it’s just small enough that I couldn’t fit a small pencil inside. Look for a small silver-camo-covered container (or if you find the replacement one then a small glass container).

A token of turtle appreciation and a little something extra awaited the first to find the cache. Congrats on RheS and Bean Scene on the co-FTF!

You should only log this cache online if you've signed the paper log. If you encountered problems with accessing the paper log then include the problem in your online log and preferably email turtlefan with a photo of the cache.

Logs stating nothing more than "TFTC" may find themselves deleted.
