Geocache Description:


This cache will take you to the entrance of the Umbogotwini Football Club which was established way back in 1969.

In 2010, South Africa will host the FIFA World Cup for the first time. Rather than place a cache at one of the new soccer stadiums being built, it is perhaps fitting to remember that club football is important for developing the sport at a grass roots level. Without football being played at this level there would ultimately be no World Cup.

The posted coordinates will take you to the signboard at the entrance road to the football club. To find the final cache location, you will have to answer the following questions:

1. How many European teams participated in the inaugural World Cup held in Uruguay in 1930? Answer = A

2. How many goals did Brazilian striker Ronaldo score in the 2006 World Cup held in Germany? Answer = B

3. How many goals did Portugal score in the 2006 World Cup? Answer = C

4. How many times did Brazil win the World Cup between 1930 and 2006? Answer = D

5. How many times did Italy win the World Cup between 1930 and 2006? Answer = E

6. How many teams played in the 1990 World Cup in Italy? Answer = 2F

7. How many red cards did the Netherlands team receive in the 2006 World Cup? Answer = G

8. How many matches were played in the 1998 World Cup in France? Answer = H4
