LT.: Lobis pasleptas Antakalnio seniunijos dalyje – Turniškese, kurios nutolusios 8 km. i šiaures rytus nuo Vilniaus centro. Pavadinimas kiles iš buvusio kaimo. Pirma karta istorijos šaltiniuose Turniškes paminetos 1780 metais. 1969 m. prijungtos prie Vilniaus. Ivairiuose šaltiniuose rašoma, jog 1938 m. pradeta statyti Turniškiu hidroelektrine, kuri tuo metu turejo buti didžiausia Lietuvoje (14000 KW). Viena iš svarbiausiu priežasciu, nulemusiu jegaines statyba ir jos vieta, tai noras sutramdyti Neri ir apsaugoti Vilniaus senamiesti nuo potvyniu daromos žalos. Taciau jos statyba nutruko prasidejus Antrajam Pasauliniam karui. Sovietu Sajungos metais cia iškilo pastatai, kuriuose isikurdavo svarbiausieji to meto valdžios atstovai. Šiuo metu netgi pasikeitus santvarkai, Turniškese išliko senosios tradicijos t.y. ikurtos LR Prezidento ir Premjero rezidencijos.
Taigi grižtant prie lobio ir nebesigilinant i skurdoka istorija (kažkodel jos mažoka internete), pakeliui link rezidenciju, pamatysite autobusu stotele, kuri yra paskutine stotele maršrutiniam autobusui Nr. 15 (deja šiuo autobusu LR prezidentai ir premjerai greiciausiai nevažiuoja tik del jiems vieniems žinomu priežasciu), o pavaikšciojus aplinkui, rasite vieta i kuria paprastai ateinama pesciomis (Takelis tinkamas važiuoti ir dviratuku). Nepergyvenkite sleptuve tikrai ne ten, taciau pamacius ši objekta jus galite buti tikri, kad einate/važiuojate teisinga kryptimi.
EN.: The cache is hidden in Turniskes, a part of Antakalnis seniunija district. Former Turniskes village is located some 8 kilometers to the North East of Vilnius downtown. First time name Turniskes was mentioned in written sources back in 1780. The village got connected to Vilnius municipality in 1969. Some sources mention that a hydro plant started to be engineered in year 1938. It was supposed to be the largest power plant in Lithuania (some 14000KW). One of the reasons to dam Neris at Turniskes was to eliminate frequent floods that used to harm Vilnius Old Town downstream. The construction of the dam was canceled after the WW2 started. At times of the Soviet rule VIP residences grew up in the area. Traditionally, current Lithuanian President and Prime Minister have their residences in Turniskes.
So, let's get back to the cache rather than getting deep into the history. On your way to the residences you will pass the final bus stop for the route 15. Meanwhile presidents and prime ministers don't use buses for the reasons only known to themselves. Keep walking and you'll find an object which people typically take a trail to reach. The trail is suitable to ride a bike, too. Don't worry, the cache is not located in the object, but you will at least know you are on the right track.
