Southerntrekker: This cache has been in need of care and maintenance for some time and as the owner has not responded to recent logs I am archiving it.
The Geocache Maintenance guideline explains a CO's responsibility towards checking and maintaining the cache when problems are reported. Caches that have been archived for lack of maintenance will not be unarchived. This is explained in the Help Center.

The place where 70’s glam rocker Marc Bolan died and there’s a shrine there too. The T Rex (Tyrannosaurus Rex) singer hit the tree here in his girlfriend’s Mini. Marc Bolan was killed instantly on 16th September 1977.
Marc Bolan achieved British No.1s with "Telegram Sam" and "Metal Guru". Other singles were "I Love to Boogie", “Ride a White Swan”, "Children Of The Revolution" and "20th Century Boy" plus many more.
Please be careful of the road, cars drive over the humpback bridge very fast and it’s also a blind bend, so please ENTER the area by the quiet off the road PATHWAY to get to the cache. Good luck with your hunt.
