99.9% Muggle Proof Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

WRWhizard: I went up and checked on this today. I was really dismayed. The day I hid this cache, I repaired this guardrail by placing my bolt where one was already missing. Over the years a lot of people have written some really nice logs about how much they hated and loved this cache. I can't be sure, but from what I saw, it really looks like someone removed every bolt from 30' of guardrail until they found it, left the whole thing sagging and stole the cache. I found one nut laying on the ground that may or may not have been from the cache. Due to my current life situation, I can't find it in myself to machine another hollow bolt and put all the others back besides. I really hope that I'm wrong, but that's what it looks like. Whatever happened, I am really sad but I have to archive this cache. Attached is a photo I took the day I hid it that shows what it looked like. I was pretty proud of this one, I never heard of another one like it. I did make one other but I gave it away and to the best of my knowledge, it's up in the Erie area.

Geocache Description:

Could be the ultimate guardrail hide. I hope not, I'd hate to think I've maxed out already.

It's not been lab tested but I'm willing to bet this hide is 99.9% muggle proof. Two cachers with way more finds than me took one look and said, "That's a 4 at least!" "Maybe even a 5"

The only thing that increases your odds of finding above the 0.1% is that since it's 99.9% muggle proof, you know it's there! Right? So get out there and sign that log. BYOP of course.

Well... I originally rated this a 3.5 but I have been told I consistently under rate my hides and this one in particular. So, upon that advice I've bumped it up a half point. Hope that makes it easier to find now. : )

***Congratulations buff449 on FTF!*** Well Done!!!...........STF = Bergie Bunch = Congrats!!
