A reasonably well known celebrity was recently spotted in Coquitlam and it is believed he is living here! If you can find where he is staying, he will happily share some of his stuff with you and would "thank you very much" if you left thematic swag in its place.

If you can identify this person, then search the site at which he was photographed you will find an unambiguous marker of his presence along this trail. (This step is easily performed from the paved path, no fence climbing is involved.) Attached to this marker is a metal tag on which a 4 digit number is represented by the letters ABCD. You need to use the actual number to calculate his specific coordinates by substituting the digits into the following formulas:
N 49° 1(D).(A+A) (C-B) (A+B-D)
W 122° 4(C+B+B).(C-D) (D+B) (A-B)
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
1. Since he is somewhat reluctant to be stumbled upon by any and everyone, he may have planted decoy tags in the area but you can be confident that when you have found the right one, you WILL know it.
2. The final location requires that you leave the major trails but does not require you to disturb any undergrowth or cross nasty terrain as long as you pick an appropriate route.
