The cache is hidden in Kjarnaskógur a forest near Akureyri. To reach the cache involves about a 1500m walk along clearly marked paths.
The cache is hidden in Kjarnaskógur (Kjarna forest) just outside Akureyri. The area is a popular place to go walking as it has a number of paths. There are also picnic benches, play areas and also a nearby camp site.
The cache is hidden near a walking path in the forest. It is a glass container about the size of a jam jar and contains a few small items for trade.
Please note that in winter due to the lack of light a torch might be advisable to help find the cache.
