The picturesque secluded fishing harbour of Port Muck is at the foot of a very steep road.
A hidden gem at the north eastern tip of Island Magee, Portmuck is a stunning little harbour. The National Trust own and manage coast on either side of the harbour and have provided excellent trails for visitors to enjoy the stunning coastal scenery and dramatic views.
Plenty of parking, please only use the car park. It's a lovely place for a picnic, here, with plenty of picnic tables and also the brand new toliet block which is so much better than the old one!
Apparently the fishing is good off the rocks behind the pier, but just sitting enjoying the view is perfectly acceptable!
