There is a series in Northern New Brunswick referred to as "Friendly Giants" - these are large pine trees that stand out from the rest of the forest. Northern Maine has more than its share of Friendly Giants. There are several on the Selden Road.
For those who Seldom go to Selden...you now have a reason to go.
