The terrain rating is due to proximity of cache to edge of cliffs dropping into Gulch Creek gorge and off-trail route finding. As always, be aware. No need to go over the edge. The difficulty rating is due to coordinates taken during the rain.
After taking photos of the six milers rafting below the bridge (dubbed the Bridge to Nowhere by the Nova Rafting bus driver), I crossed said bridge (see GC139EZ for a fine cache) to see what was on the other side. I noticed on the GPS that there was a confluence of Gulch Creek with Six Mile Creek nearby, so onward ho!
I found this overlook and the pretty much rapids free Gulch Creek.
