Geocache Description:

Take a walk through Bottle Lake Forest Park... but watch out for bears!!!

"If you go down to the woods today,
You're sure of a big surprise.
If you go down to the woods today,

Today's the day the teddy bears have their picnic!"

OH MY GOSH!!!! Hidden in Bottle Lake forest is a 20L bin full of stuffed animals! The walk is about 30-40 min return, and goes over some rough ground. Strollers are not advised. Accuracy was about 10m when placed (lots of trees). Look for a track marker with a faint path leading into the trees. Follow this path in about 10ms and start hunting. I tried to avoid the evil thorned branches, but there are a few to watch out for.

This is a themed cache - stuffed animal swaps only please. Each 'teddy' has been placed in a resealable plastic bag (with special breathing holes so they don't suffocate) to keep out the damp. Each bag fits a teddy up to 25cm high.

Note on 4/10/09: After some recent bad experiences with some of my favourite caches I've become rather cautious. I had considered making this cache members only, but changed my mind. Please show respect for this cache by...
- being wary of muggles. DO NOT LET THEM SEE YOU
- Re-hiding the cache well so that it does not get found
- keeping the location a secret if you are telling your friends (i.e. only say it's in Bottle Lake Forest)
