Set in beautiful forest and country side, New Ash Green is an eyesore but retains so many happy memories.
It's not that bad really.
Once in a new city,
stood a lonely village,
Where great hopes were laid
In Longfield.
The idealists got it wrong.
Poor New Ash Green.
The village grew
and so did greed
taxes high and people flee
now all is gone
and few remain
a ghost town
where people complain.
