Dedicated on Sept 11, 1934 as a memorial to Mrs. Mary Steiger. Grandmother's garden is a beautiful and peaceful spot. Over the years it has gone through some very lean times as the grounds were left unattended. Today thanks to the Friends of Grandmother's Garden, it is again a beautiful spot to come and walk around in. There are many volunteers from master gardners to weed pullers like me that work from spring to fall in the garden. All who want are invited to join this tireless group in the pursuit of maintaining this lovely spot. I do volunteer, but I live close enough to stop and do some dead heading as I give Bailey her morning walk. Please treat the area with the respect it deserves.
