PEricles' Pale Pail Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Ericles: I'm in an archiving mood today as I have too many open items on my mental to-do list.
I still like this area but not so much the people who have been frequenting it. While there with my young daughter I had to answer questions about why there was "personal lubricant" laying around then a pair of guys on motorcycles can riding down the trail at us. So it goes. I wouldn't want to return so I'll do what I can to avoid bringing others here, despite the nice views.

Geocache Description:

A short trail, a little bushwhack and a LARGE WHITE BUKKIT!

Has yoo seen mah Bukkit?

The Cache: This hide was inspired by Boscobaby's Big Bloo Bukkit a giant among caches! This cache hopes to join the Bukkit Bergade one day when he gets a little bigger. He might not be as big as the Blue Bukkit but he's still very large for a Geocache so you shouldn't have any trouble finding it. The hike & hide are kid friendly and the cache will happily hold all but the largest of swag & TBs. Like the other caches in this series, the lid is internally threaded and twists off. Be sure to twist it back on tightly and then rebuild the camo to keep the cache safe. Depending on how you approach GZ you may encounter ticks & poison ivy but they are light in comparison to other areas of the park. In the Spring/Summer you will encounter flies & mosquitoes so be sure to protect your skin. The hide is above the marsh but enjoy the view and the hunting osprey!

The Location: Welcome to Cheesequake State Park's Arrowsmith Point! Ample parking is available at the Spring Hill picnic area (a favorite of the NYC/North Jersey folk who want to go to a park but can't bear to be without traffic noise) or, for a longer hike, at the park & ride off of GSP exit 120 (a favorite of the Central Jersey folk who want to live here but have to work in NYC/North Jersey). From Memorial Day through Labor Day there is a fee to enter the park from the main gate but not from the Park & Ride. The campground & restrooms are open during the summer but the picnic area is available year round. For more Big Cache Action, check out this bookmark list.
