OLLIE OLLIE OXEN FREE (come out, come out, where ever you are!)
Placed as an accompaniment to Mine Boggler cache. Slight bushwack off the trail but you should be rewarded. Hey, if there were trails to this stuff, everyone would know of it and it wouldn't be such a fun discovery. When you choose to leave the trail will determine your terrain rating. Not sure if this serviced the actual town of Oxford, the Furnace, or one of the mines here. Any info always welcome. Full size traditional container, brightly colored, bring your trades.
As I explored these woods, I was rewarded with several interesting finds. To name a few: a mine or two or three or..., several test bores (pipes), springs, a wooden cistern, several pit type foundations, a couple of pretty neat culverts, rail bed remains, and some other miscellany. I've sniffed out a few more related locations on another parcel, another cache or two to come. Stay tuned.
