Goble Goble Traditional Cache
BlueMoth: Ok, I am archiving this one. I wanted to move it across the road to the Goble Tavern, but the owner is not getting back to me. I won't place a cache on private property without permission. Any of you more local cachers that might know the owner, have at it and good luck. Thanks to all who hunted out Goble Goble.

Lovely little Oregon ghost town. Goble, pronounced with a long O. Nothing much left now but the old whistle stop sign.
It was one of the stopping points for the Lewis and Clark party.
Daniel Goble took a Donation Land Claim here in 1853.
From 1884 until 1907, when the Columbia River railroad bridge was built, Goble was the Southern terminus for the train ferry on the Portland to Seattle line. Yeah folks, they really did take the train across the Columbia on a ferry.
The 1800's brought a logging boomtown to Goble.. giant old growth firs skidded down to the river, bars, whiskey, girls, lumberjacks, fights, you get the picture.
What you will see at GZ is what's left of that era.
Parking is at N46 00.971 W122 52.493
Don't try and open the gate, park in front and walk to the cache.
Ammo can with a green geocaching sticker.
Cache has the usual neato swag and a glass blue moth.
FTF gets to pick, the rest of you remember to:
