On the other side of the Fruit Loop Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Craftea's Archives: It's had a good run and was lovingly maintained by Ceredwyn for me but now it's easier to just let this one go. Thanks to all who visited!

Geocache Description:

The Fruit Loop is about 35 miles of places to look at, places to stop for and farm stands to shop at. There are about 35 farm stands to choose from on the Fruit Loop, but only two have caches (so far!). At any stop you can pick up that year’s Fruit Loop Guide and visit the ones that appeal to you or visit all of them and compare them first hand. Many allow you to pick your own fruit (cherries, peaches, pears, apples, plums and more) off the trees, or buy it already picked. If fruit isn’t your thing, you can choose to stop at the farm stands that offer baked or canned goods, fibers or hand-made fiber products from the farm animals, wine, BBQ, ice cream, milkshakes, and lavender, to name a few.

Each stop on the Fruit Loop is different, so picking up a guide is your best bet. They list the hours (most are closed during the winter), as well as what each has to offer and if your pet is allowed. Most places on the Fruit Loop have websites and phone numbers so you can really plan ahead.

But if all you’re after is the cache, come any old time, the cache is available year round.

And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.
