Geocache Description:

Cache was started with Elmer&Daffey with a 2009 penny and a small gold star. There is a small, fun FTF prize. Nothing of value just fun. Leave only something very small because there really isn't much room.

Gunnisonville School House served the community as a center for social and educational activities for nearly 125 years from 1836 to 1963 when it was closed. The school house’s later years were filled with kindergarten classes from the nearby community. My father and his twin brother’s kindergarten class of 1963 was the last set of students to attend the one room school house.
Next to the school is the Gunnisonville cemetery where my Grandmother is buried. This cache is affectionately named after one of her favorite sayings. The area holds a lot of family history and you are sure to enjoy a stroll through the shaded paths of the cemetery.
RIP: CLM & GDM
Bring your own pencil because the cache only has room for the log book. Be sure to gently return the cache container to its original location.
