Geocache Description:

This is the third in a series of caches representing names of my family.

The six themed caches are set out over a walk of about 3 miles of easy walking on public footpaths and bridleways around the village of Wold Newton and it starts next to an existing cache “Woodpecker towers” (GC1VMDW). Parking is at coordinates N 53 26.802 W 000 07.473. Please park so that the gateway and the bridleway entrance to the wood are kept clear. Please note that the tracks can be muddy after rain and that the terrain is not suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs.

During the walk take time to enjoy the views over the River Humber and North Sea coastal areas.

Brian – Of Celtic/Gaelic origin and means high, noble, strong. Variants include Bryan, Bryon and Brion.

You are looking for a small round plastic box containing a log book, pencil and a small swap to start off with. Please take care to replace exactly as found. It is advisable to take your own pen/pencil just in case.
