This area is a GREAT site for a cache. There is lots more dotted along this part of the coastline aswell!
This is a great bay and is hardly heard of. It is a fantastic and unique feature in the North east's Coast line. Over 245 Million years ago this area used to be a -------(1) which got -------(2). then it turned into a bay. Over the millions of years to come the rocks started to form out of dead sea creatures and other rocks. They eventually became compact and became a sedimentary rock (excelent views of it can be seen if you look at the north-west corner of the bay). This bay over 245 million years became a lush sandy bay with astonishing views of the cliffs. Then in the 19th Century this bay was popular with ---------(3). The bay got its name when...(4)

Parking can be found along the eastern side of coast road OR at the Marsden Grotto Or further North there are PLENTY of car parks!
