Geocache Description:

This cache was placed by Beezele on August 26, 2009.

While on the way to placing a cache I came across a sign honoring a friend. Trooper Gerald T. Dowd from Troop 5. He was killed on 9/11/1990 in an accident with a tractor-trailer, while responding to an emergency call, to assist a fellow officer. I stopped and put a cache here to honor his memory. While here, stop and say thanks to those that protect us.
