This field has been in Enid Gautiers family since 1868. When Enid inherited the field from her mother Adelina Champion her hope was to use it for the benefit of future generations and so a community Arboretum was planted.
Each tree has been planted for or by members of the public. It is hoped that the wood will provide a natural habitat for wildlife and the trees planted will grow to maturity creating an area of natural beauty to be enjoyed by all.
Inside is a stamp for you to use. Please leave it and the ink pad in the cache and make sure it is well hidden.
