Geocache Description:

Nano cache placed close to the new(ish) roundabout at Coleman's Corner

Coleman’s Corner is the junction where the Hillhead Road, the Carntall Road and the ‘Larne Line’ meet. Before the roundabout was built, there was always a long queue at the end of the Hillhead Road and Carntall Road every morning and evening. Thankfully, this is no longer the case. A new dual carriageway between Coleman’s Corner and Larne has been approved which will bypass Bruslee and Ballynure.

The roundabout was the site of the Newtownabbey Borough Council’s Wallace and Gromit floral display last year before it went on its tour of the local primary schools. The permanent sculpture which has recently been erected, entitled 'The Flax Harvesters', is a reminder of the linen industry in the local area.

The cache is a nano camouflaged to blend in with its surroundings. Please bring your own pen. There is no need to go on to the roundabout.
