Geocache Description:

C + M

Married: November 25th, 2005

Sealed: May 3rd, 2008

This cache is a tribute to the woman I love and I married, Shell.  Obviously from the title of the cache, she is from Mesquite.  She talks with a funny accent at times and she thinks I am being mean then I make “fun” of her accent but I love the “funny” way she talks.  She is a saint.  She accepted me after a broken marriage.  She accepted my three kids and cares for them as if they were her own.  She is a great cook and decorates cakes in the area.  She is very talented.  She keeps me calmed down when I seem to run around with my head cut off and always has a kind word to say to me to calm me down.  Though when I play board and card games her, she is the queen of the trash talk!  I usually kick her trash when we play Phase 10!  She has allowed me to be active in the Boy Scouts and gone from the house a lot (maybe being married to me isn’t that easy and she needs the break?!?) but she runs a good house.

We are a blended family with 5 kids between the two of us. It makes logistics at times very complicated because we are involved in all 5 kids lives and love them all very much but it is so worth it. Blended families are hard but very do-able!

I won’t lie.....I stole this idea after finding “Yes, I married the last Ohio 'Bierbaum'” (GC1M5AT).  So this is a semi-tribute to hpigeo but more importantly to my wife, Shell.

Our song........

I set out on a narrow way many years ago
Hoping I would find true love along the broken road
But I got lost a time or two
Wiped my brow and kept pushing through
I couldn't see how every sign pointed straight to you

[Chorus:]
Every long lost dream led me to where you are
Others who broke my heart they were like northern stars
Pointing me on my way into your loving arms
This much I know is true
That God blessed the broken road
That led me straight to you
