Books, Bodies & Boomerangs Traditional Cache

Signal Hill comprises nearly four hectares of remnant Banksia woodland, previously used as a signal station by the Department of Defence and Royal Australian Air Force. More than one hundred species of local, native plants have been found here. Twenty six native bird species have also been recorded.

This area has some history! Not only was it the location of the now archived Rogue's Book Exchange, one of our first finds, but a Boomerang plane crashed nearby in 1944, and the body of a missing man was found here in 2008.
