Geocache Description:

Trek a popular trail to a popular wildlife spot and search near some poplar trees. Don't look high; look down low. BYOP for your name to show.

There are two approaches to the cache;

1. Park at Pine Trailhead just south of Pine, AZ off of Highway 87. Follow Oak Springs Trail #16, which is a segment of the Arizona Trail. (see map at Trailhead). Stay on trail until you’re about 0.1 of a mile from the cache and at the edge of a large meadow. Look for the forest gate or crawl under the fence. Then follow your GPSr to GZ.

2. Park at end of Cletus Ray Rd (aka Cletus Rd) N 34° 22.302’ W 111° 28.121’ Go through gate. Be sure to close the gate after you. Then follow logging road about 1/3 mile to this waypoint: N 34° 22.131’ W 111° 27.912’ Then go east through meadow, following GPS to GZ.
