Come one, come
all. It is the SLAGA 2009 FALL PICNIC at City Park, Bourbon,
MO.
The Fall Picnic will be held at the City Park in Bourbon, MO. This
park is a well-appointed park located along Old Route 66 in western
Bourbon. This park is loaded with opportunities. There are three
pavilions (we will be in the largest, located adjacent to parking),
tennis courts, skate park, playground, and the beginnings of a
walking trail. There is one large and several small BBQ grills
located on one side of the pavilion. The pavilion has one restroom
located at one end. There is also a water fountain. There are six
electrical outlets conveniently located around the pavilion. This
will eliminate the need for a generator.

Being that this event is on a Sunday this year we will gather for
fun, games and conversation early and the meal and official
activities will be held later. This will allow those who wish to
attend worship services to do so and still attend the Picnic. There
are many churches in the city that are listed on the following

SLAGA will provide the meat, condiments, plates, cups and
utensils. We ask that you bring a side dish or soda/ice to
share. The prices will be Adults $5.00, kids 5-12 $2.00 and
kids four and under are free. Please let us know
if you can attend by 10/1/09 so we know how much food to
purchase.
