Geocache Description:

The Harris stopping place was situated here. This was the point where the Bone Trail divided, some travelers going south and others to the northwest. the sod home of Richard Harris provided food and shelter for the many travellers and their animals.

The first Harris post office ,store and church were located here. With the coming of the railway in 1908 everything soon moved south two miles to the rail line including the Harris name.

Cache may not be winter friendly due to ice.
