How about a motorcycle ride coupled with caching
Boatrs and Survivor Florida have enjoyed several caching motorcycle rides this season. We'd like to share the fun with anyone who would like to come. This is a no frills event designed to give those of us who enjoy caching and motorcycle rides a chance to meet each other. While a motorcycle is not required, it will be more fun if the weatherman co operates. The above coordinates will take you to a Park and Ride at the intersection of Rt. 4 and Rt 43 in Northwood. There is a cache, GC1WGXM, in the parking area. There is a Shell gas station diagonally across the intersection. The event starts at 9:30 and the ride needs to leave promptly at 10:00.
The ride will circle Lake Winnipesaukee. We will suggest at least one route and possibly two. We will not necessarily travel as a group as different people will have found different caches on the route. However we will all meet at Buckey's Tavern, 240 Governor Wentworth Highway, Moultonborough, at about 1:00 for lunch. There are always last minute details so plan to arrive a bit early so we can be ready to ride at 10:00
To get credit for the event you need to be at the Park and Ride before 10:00. There is no rain date for the ride so let's hope for good weather.
