This cache promotes active living and environmentally friendly geocaching. Please share your story about how you got to the cache, especially if it was using an environmentally friendly means of transportation. This cache is hidden in a BC Park. BC Parks supports geocaching! Here is a link to the BC Parks geocaching policies, please familiarize yourself with them. Through cooperation with BC Parks, we can keep geocaching a fun and supported activity in BC's Provincial Parks
Thunder Hill Provincial Park is not signed on the highway so it is often missed by even local inhabitants. This Park used to be a camping site but it is now closed to vehicles. Please park at the suggested parking spot and you will be able to access the park without having to negotiate fences. Once in the park area you will see remnants of the roads and camping spots. Please walk on as many of these roads as possible or stick to one of the many game trails as you make your way to the cache site.
In this cache, you'll find some ProjectBlueSky geocoins for the first finders. Please only take one... if you have one from another cache, please leave them for other people. There are also some other pins and swag from BC Parks, BCGA and Project Blue Sky.
