The quarry which has been dissused for many years has been re-developed with walking routes and mountain bike trails,these are shown on maps on the access track, pls keep to the tracks as this keeps you away from danger and finding the cache safer. Plenty of available parking at the bottom of the access track.
The cache was replaced and re-sited with a small clip lock box, after the original location became inaccessible. Please be careful accessing the cache as this is quite a popular area which can get quite busy at times. Especially if the competition mountain bikers are in town, if you happen to visit when events are taking place it is well worth watching as the speed the competitors cover the terrain has to be seen to be believed.
