Here is a nice Park and Grab, especially for the family. Beware of muggles.
After you have found the P&G cache, walk towards the Fox River and you will have a nice view of Veterans Memorial Park and the Fox River.
There are 10 flags in total at Veterans Memorial Park. On the left: Army, Marines, and Navy. In the middle: City of Elgin, United States of America, and State of Illinois. On the right: Air Force, Coast Guard, and Merchant Marine. On the opposite end of the U.S. flag (towards the river), you will find the Veterans of Foreign Wars Monument and the POW * MIA soldiers flag.
Veterans Memorial Park was dedicated on November 11, 2008.
There is an optional boat launch.
There is a $1 bill for the FTF.
