Capt. Dave's Cache Mystery Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
This Geocache is dedicated to the memory of my daddy,
Capt. Dave,
a retired Army helicopter pilot, who served his country
bravely.

It is the soldier, not the reporter, Who has given us freedom of
the press.
It is the soldier, not the poet, Who has given us freedom of
speech.
It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, Who has given us the
freedom to demonstrate.
It is the soldier, not the lawyer, Who has given us a right to a
fair trial.
It is the soldier, like my daddy, who salutes
the flag,
Who serves under the flag, And whose coffin is draped by the flag.
"My daddy had a long and distinguished career in the Army and
retired as a CW3. He served with the 180th ASLT SUPT HEL CO.
403rd T.C. DET. He was awarded many honors. One of my favorites and
an Air Medal he received when he evacuated two injured soldiers in
Pyeongtaek. "Although hampered by dense fog and no instrument
facilities, he demonstrated exceptional skill and ability in
accomplishing his mission, using only vehicle headlight to
illuminate his landing area". He was and will always be my
hero!"
