This is a short easy two step multi.
We just completed a self inflicted streak of finding a multi cache every day for 52 days. To celebrate this foolishness, I placed this multi cache. I've been wanting to place a cache nearby for quite some time, and when I attempted to do so I noticed there are quite a few caches restricting where I could fit this. Just inside the park from here you may notice the Recycled Water Test Garden. Many of the plants are natives and grow well in our climate. Seeing them here may give you some landscaping ideas.
The starting coordinates will take to to a very obvious man made object with an identification plate on it. The identification plate has a MDL number, and several other numbers on it. To calculate the final location which is just a short walk away, you want the MDL number which should be the most clearly readable number. You may ignore the letters in the MDL number. The final cache is located at

X= (MDL number *2 + 43)
Y= (Second digit of the MDL number * third digit + first digit + second digit)
