*********Congrats to CTKayak and Wing-it for FTF!.*********In Old Saybrook, north on Elm St/Ingham Hill Rd. Turn right on Mill Rock Road West, then an immediate left on Merritt Lane. Parking for one vehicle. Estimated accuracy was nine feet. Basically a park and grab. BYOP.
Nope, this is not the meeting place for the next get-together nor can you enjoy fried clams here, unless you bring your own. I found this spot when exploring the nearby Great Cedars Conservation Area and thought it deserved its own cache. A very informative sign will explain everything. The hint just about gives the location away. Enjoy!
