Geocache Description:

You can park along the side of the road here and the cache is just down the hill. Bring a fishing pole.

This is the small Official Geocache.com lock & lock type container. There isn't much room but there are some small trade items, log book and pen. Included are some jigs and bead head flies that are very affective for Steelhead in this very spot. FTF help yourself. I will tie more and stock the cache again. Want to know how I fish with them, just ask. High fisherman traffic during the Steelhead season. You'll find more fisherman on the weekends than weekdays. There is cactus on the hill between your car and the cache.Terrain is a 3 maybe 4 just because of the short downhill hike. It is grassy "weedy" with not much rock. Not too bad. Bring your fishing pole. Up here you will find plenty of wildlife, Eagles and other birds of prey, Herons, Swans, Freshwater otters, bighorn Sheep, Deer, and Elk. The Elk come down every fall and cross the river a hundred yards up river from here. Check for uploaded pictures.
