Emumägi (166 m above sea level) is the highest hill in the Pandivere Upland and in the entire North Estonia. From the watching tower established at the top of the hill several churches can be seen and in recent years an increasing number of mobile masts. Unlike many other watching towers in Estonia the traditional agricultural landscape dominates the scene here. The more distant scene includes extensive mire areas of Endla and the forests of Alutaguse region. From its foot Emumägi rises to 80 metres. Essentially, the hill consists of several landforms linked together, i.e. there is a long esker lying on the drumlin-like hillock. Emumägi together with the Tammiku Hill located north of the former forms a 12 km long mound range with many steep-sloped valleys and depressions. The slightly slanting western slope of the mound is predominantly covered with arable land.
The cache is hidden near to a hut called "Koopaonn" From there you can find a fireplace and you can eaven sleep there without a tent. The observation tower is about 600m from the cache. Best place to park your car is 58° 56,444' 26° 22,481'. From there you can find your way to all the differet huts and to the tower.

Pandivere kõrgustiku ja kogu Põhja-Eesti katus ehk kõrgem tipp asub Emumäel. Mäe otsa rajatud vaatetornist paistab selge ilmaga kätte mitu kirikutorni. Erinevalt paljudest teistest Eesti vaatetornidest, avaneb Emumäelt traditsiooniline põllumajandusmaastik, mille kaugemal vahetavad välja Endla soostik ja Alutaguse metsad. Emumäe kõrgus merepinnast on 166 m ning jalamilt u. 80 m. Koos põhjapoolse Tammiku mäega moodustab Emumägi 12 km pikkuse kõrgendiku, milles on rohkesti järsuveerulisi orge ja lohkusid.
Lisaks vaatetornile asub Emumäel ka väga lahedaid erinevaid onne ja ka Emumäe valvur. Soovitame kõik need kohad seal üle vaadata. Lisaks on onnide juures lõkke tegemise platsid ja ka ilma telgita ööbimise võimalus.
Aare ise viibki teid vaatetornist natuke eemale Koopaonni juurde. Auto võite parkida koordinaatidele 58° 56,444' 26° 22,481' Sealt on mõnus jalutuskäik iga onni ja vaatetorni juurde. Samas pääseb autoga aardele ka natuke lähemale. Olenevalt siis valitud parkimiskohast, tuleb kas liikuda edasi sealt kust näitab kollane nool või treppidest üles.
Koordinaadid said taas võetud mu enda GPS'iga, aga see puude all ei taha väga toimida. Loodan, et aare on siiski lihtsalt leitav.
