The junction of the White and Black Esk there is a small Forestry commission car park and then a short walk to the cache.
Its called Catherines cache as thats my daughter and she was visiting for a few days and so decided to place a cache.
This is where the White and Black Esk join up and is a very picturesque spot for a look, wander or a picnic. The cache and the car park are also situated below the Deils Jingle a linear earthwork which might be worth a look. On the way in or out its also worth stopping on the road above the bridge just for a look down at the meeting point of the two rivers as its a lovely area.
Also near by is Samye Ling the largest Tibetan monastery in Europe and the first to be built in the west. Interesting place, if not just a wee bit queer sat in the Scottish countryside, with a good tea room!
The cache is a plastic box with black tape on it and it contains all sort of goodies including lots of items brought back from the Tour De France!
