Geocache Description:

This cache is located on the old Beale Wagon Trail. The trail was renamed later when Flagstaff was more developed. The cache is hidden near a museum which has a vehicle of significant importance to this region on display.

In 1857 Navy Lieutenant Edward F Beale blazed a new trail west from Fort Defiance, NM to California. His mission was to determine if camels could be of use in the Southwest US. On that trail, Beale passed directly through what is now Flagstaff. This cache is located on that original trail near a museum which has a vehicle of significant importance to this area and the lumber industry on display.

The cache is a pink pencil box loaded with the following items:

- A plastic spoon
- A matchbox racecar
- A pink Koosh man
- The 'Out to Pasture' geocoin
- A Texas strong man action figure
- A turquoise stone
- An Australian ostrich egg ear ring
- A CosninoCanines geocoin
- A North Dakota state quarter
- A logbook
- A pen

Not much muggle activity. No need for your feet to leave the ground.

Please take something and leave something. Enjoy!
